I had finnally created a blog for those who wants to know just a bit more about me and my work. In this blog you will find information, pictures, screenshots, renders and videos from my projects. Also I will post my opinions about movies, shortfilms and YouTube videos.
Me
My name is Mael Santiago, I live in Caracas, Venezuela. I am a 16 years old boy that loves animation, film and cging. I started working on film&animation stuff since I was 9 years old. My very first animations were done with the stopmotion technique using my toys as character rigs. The first 3d software I used was Bryce, then I started to use Macromedia Extreme 3d, then Maxon Cinema 4d, and finally Autodesk Maya 2008.
During the last to years I have been working on short projects such as Generatio and Sausaguy (you can watch them at my old YouTube channel: Gbmov).
All my visual arts knowlegde comes from my parents (both of them graphic designers), researching, and a 2 months intern I did during vacations on a respectable motion graphics studio here in Caracas called Totuma. There I learned to use Maya and After Effects in a more deeper way than before.
